Provides the theoretical and practical knowledge needed for an overall view of what it takes to design strategies allowing both public and private organisations to draw up a decarbonisation plan and reorient their energy model.
Buildings, industry and transport run complex, energy-intensive facilities and processes. This course covers how energy studies are carried out in practice, setting out the methodology, objectives, approaches and technical calculations.
Implementing a management system under ISO 50001 brings multiple economic and managerial benefits. Its rollout and upkeep involve everyone, from senior management to the workforce.

Presents the components of the electricity price, the regulated and market portions, how the energy auction works and how it affects indexed contracts and the PVPC regulated tariff.
Heat transfer and thermodynamics fundamentals for calculating the potential savings of heat recovery systems where energy losses occur.
Core knowledge of heating and cooling systems: combustion equipment and heat pumps, distribution, terminal units, efficiencies and operating costs.
Informs staff about the company’s environmental and energy impact and the part each employee plays in reducing that impact and its costs through good practice.
